She has an Environmental Science Degree from the University of the Basque Country (2011). She obtained high-level technical degree in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control in polytechnic institute of Jesús Obrero (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 2013). She worked in the area of quality control and R & D in different industries. After that, she got a Global Training Scholarship and she worked as research assistant in Carbolea group (University of Limerick, Ireland, 2015), conducting experiments for the production of high value organic chemicals. She is currently hired at IMDEA Agua as a predoctoral researcher in Membrane Technology group. Her contract is supported by the State Training Subprogram of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness for the training of doctors. This is part of a national project called INREMEM ("Innovation and recycling of membranes for water treatment", Ref. CTM2015-65348-C2-1-R). Her research is focused in the preparation of ion exchange membranes starting from recycled reverse osmosis membranes.
