Anna has a BSc in in Biology and Molecular Biology from Uppsala University (2012) in Sweden and a MSc in Environmental Water Management from Cranfield University (2014), in the UK and a MSc in Limnology from Uppsala University (2015).
During her time in England she participated in a group project in the Canals & Rivers Trust to investigate the environmental Status of River Lee and develop strategies for reaching the objectives according to the Water Framework Directive. She conducted her MSc Thesis in collaboration with the Environment Agency for England and Wales by investigating alternative management strategies for aquatic invasive species and developing a biofilter to prohibit the spread of invasive aquatic species in the early life stages.
Anna has been working as a research assistant at the department of Microbiology and Ecology at University of Valencia in Spain, investigating the community structure of phytoplankton in saline lakes of central Spain and is currently working as research support in the Smart-Hydro Project.
