She has a degree in Biology at University of Seville (2016). She developed a degree project on recognition of heavy metals by cyanobacteria at the Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Photosynthesis of CSIC. Nowadays, she is working in the microbiology group from IMDEA Water, where she works as helper investigator in studies about toxic cyanobacteria from freshwater systems and their biological control with molecular methods.
