She obtained the degree of M.Sc in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Basque Country in 2011 and a high-level technical degree in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control in 2013. She worked in the area of quality control and R & D in different industries. She worked as research assistant Carbolea Biomass group (University of Limerick, Ireland, 2014). She joined the membrane technology group of IMDEA Water in 2015 and currently she is developing her doctoral thesis. Her research is focused in the preparation of ion exchange membranes for electrodialysis. This research is under the scope of the national projects INREMEM (Innovation and recycling of membranes for water treatment) and INREMEM 2.0. (Hybrid wastewater treatments based on recycled membranes with the objective of zero liquid discharge (ZLD)). She has published 5 scientific papers, 2 peer reviewed conference papers and one national patent. She has participated with two oral contributions in conferences, and she was awarded with the best oral communication in one of them. Her predoctoral contract for training doctors (FPI) is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
