Graduated in Biology at Rey Juan Carlos University (2017) with a Master in Inland Water Quality Assessment (2019) by the Autonomous University of Madrid. She performed her final Degree project in the Ecotoxicology group (IMDEA Water) which consisted on a mesocosm experiment to assess the effects of several nenonicotinoid insecticides on the Mediterranean macroinvertebrate communities. Her Master thesis was conducted at the Southeastern University of Norway (USN) and focused on studying the ocurrence of microplastics at several sedimentation ponds and natural lakes.
In addition, she was granted with an intership at CNRS-MEDIMEER (France) by the European AQUACOSM TA (2018) where she involved in other mesocosm experiment about the effects of warming on the Mediterranean plankton food web functioning. During the same year, she worked as Technician for a joint project of the URJC and the ETH Zurich about improving crop efficiency and cooperated with the URJC and the UPV identifying macroinvertebrates and working for the DESEMBALSE project which study the effects of the emptying of the Enobieta reservoir (Navarra) on the diversity and functioning of the river ecosystem.
She is currently working in IMDEA Water as a support technician in Ecotoxicology group under the framework of the Support Technician Program of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MICIU).
