In the framework of the XIV Edition of the 3M Foundation Awards for Innovation focused on Water, Eloy García Calvo and Irene de Bustamante have been awarded with a second prize for their project "Evolution of traces of drugs in the treatment of urban waste water", which carries out a study of the evolution of a group of drugs (emerging pollutants) through various water treatment steps.
The awards ceremony took place on December 11, 2012.
