The researcher and science communicator Belén Barroeta has participated in the 4th Conference on Scientific Communication, held in Malaga within the framework of the Transfiere Forum. The conference, organised by the Spanish Association for Scientific Communication (AECC), has brought together journalists specialized in science and innovation with the aim of offering guidelines and keys that allow researchers, institutions and companies to work on a successful and efficient publicizing of their initiatives and projects.
During her presentation, Mrs Barroeta has explained the key factors that contribute to the success of the dissemination of science and technology and presented the communication achievements of some projects developed by IMDEA Agua.
The session has concluded with an analysis of selected success stories to identify their characteristics, possible improvements and tools for best dissemination. The speakers have examined the proposals of the University of Malaga together with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Technology Transfer, Francisco Aldana Montes, and the director of the Technology Transfer Office.
The tenth edition of Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, has brought together researchers, entrepreneurs and politicians in Malaga for two days who have stated the role of innovation and collaboration between private companies, universities, researchers and public administrations.
