DESCRIPTION PHOTOS
Solvent resistant stirred cell (lab scale) constructed from stainless steel and borosilicate glass. It is designed to offer a rapid and efficient filtration with ultrafiltration and nanofiltration membranes using pressure up to 6.2 bar.
It is appopiate for applications requiring compatibility with solvents.
The stirred cells are available in two sizes:
   i) 47 mm of diameter membrane disk – feed volume up to 75 mL
   ii) 47 mm of diameter membrane disk – feed volume up to 75 mL

Amicon stirred cell (model 8400) provides high flow rates with solutions up to 10% macrosolute concentration. Capable of rapid concentration using UF membranes (76 mm of diameter) and pressure up to 5.2 bar. The maximum feed volume is 400 mL.

Laboratory scale cross flow stainless steel test units for flat-sheet membranes. The systems can be used as a microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration or reverse osmosis with a feed tank of 25 L.

Spiral wound ultrafiltration pilot plant with two feed tanks of 500 l each and a 8” Hydranautics pressure vessel. The system can be coupled and used in serie with the RO pilot system (see below).

Automatic membrane coating device used for the preparation of flat sheet polymeric membranes. Reproducible film layers can be prepared, either self standing (e.g. coating directly onto glass, stainless steel, etc.) or on various substrates (e.g. nonwoven, polymeric supports, etc.). It contains a digital display to set and read the temperature, as well as to read the set coating (casting) speed. This equipment is located in the laboratory of membrane preparation and autopsies.
